Description
Founded in 1954, the Atlanta Artists Center is the oldest continuing organization for artists in the area. Its mission is twofold - to support the growth of its members as artists and also to enhance visual arts in communities through outreach programs that include education, exhibitions and special programming. With more than 450 members from 10 metro Atlanta counties, the organization has become one of the largest all-volunteer, non-profit fine arts organizations in the Southeast.
