Event Description
Georgia Perimeter College joins the nation in spotlighting President Lincoln with the opening of the national traveling exhibition "Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War." Using the U.S. Constitution as the cohesive thread, this exhibit focuses on Lincoln’s struggle to meet the political and constitutional challenges of the Civil War. Organized thematically by the National Constitution Center and the American Library Association Public Programs Office, the exhibition explores how Lincoln used the Constitution to confront three intertwined crises of the war — the secession of Southern states, slavery and wartime civil liberties. This exhibit is held in the GPC Dunwoody Campus Library and is open to the public during library hours.
