Event Description
This ballet tells an intriguing story of survival in the wild. Ballethnic Dance Company celebrates the 19th anniversary of this full-length signature production that is choreographed by company co-Founder Waverly T. Lucas, II. This show eloquently fuses classical ballet and African Dance into a high energy, action-filled and powerful performance. Act I of "The Leopard Tale" was developed in 1991, and Act II was added in 1994. Set to an original musical score composed by L. Gerard Reid, this production displays the unique style of Ballethnic that is unforgettable.
