Event Description
Opening Reception: Friday, July 20 from 7 to 11 p.m.
This exhibit features new works by Atlanta artist Corey Barksdale that demonstrate an exploration of various styles of painting, from traditional acrylic painting to aerosol art. The works in the exhibit showcase a new style of painting Barksdale has experimented with for the past year that incorporates his refined fine art paintings with raw urban street art. Of the works, Barksdale says, "I have recently been inspired to develop a street art style of painting because it captures the raw essence of what's happening in the city."
